Our Story

Inspiration & Authenticity

It all started with an underlying admiration for Japanese flavors and baking.

Yamanote Atelier is a UAE born, artisanal Japanese bakery and café concept that opened its doors to the public in 2013.

What started out as one little bakery, quickly expanded all around the UAE - building up an undisputed reputation for irresistible bakeries, desserts, and savoury dishes.

We strive for excellence in everything we do and every step of our journey, whether it be in our preparation, baking or delivery.

All items served at Yamanote stores are baked fresh with authentic Japanese ingredients straight from Japan.

Ya Baum, the latest addition to the Yamanote empire, offers our customers a unique and authentic dessert experience, inspired by the Japanese Baumkuchen cake and reminiscent of Japanese culture and culinary tradition.
